    Interactive discussions on how social media can be utilized for businesses, including determining goals, identifying the target audience using buyer personas, content marketing, analytics, and planning a tailored social media strategy.

    Students will understand the following:

    • The importance of social media for businesses.
    • How to determine goals and target audiences for their businesses.
    • Effective use of social media platforms and the powerful features each platform offers.
    • Types and purposes of content marketing.
    • How to monitor campaigns using analytics.

    Week 2: Detailed Demo of Creative Applications for Content Creation and Design

    Activity Overview

    Hands-on activities to create complex content using creative apps and tools such as Canva, Clipchamp, ChatGPT, Facebook Creator Studio, and other resources. Topics include:

    • Creating stories, posts, GIFs, polls, questions, IGTV, emojis, and CTAs (Calls to Action).
    • Selecting the right hashtags to convey the intended message.
    • Editing videos and pictures for social media.
    • Scheduling posts based on a social media calendar.
    • Creating a weekly content calendar.
    • Optimizing social media profiles.

    Activity Objectives

    Students will be able to:

    • Create and schedule content using various applications.
    • Edit videos and pictures for social media posts.
    • Develop weekly content calendars and effectively use hashtags.
    • Optimize their social media profiles.

    Week 3: Recap of Social Media Strategy and Applications

    Activity Overview

    A practical session to recap the knowledge gained in Weeks 1 and 2. Students will implement the concepts by creating a comprehensive social media campaign.

    Students will:

    • Develop their own social media strategy
    • Use creative applications to produce content aligned with their social media strategy
    • Execute a compelling social media campaign

     

    Final Assessment: Create Social Media Content for a campaign as per the target audience and buyer
