SAE Dubai runs active social clubs with a busy schedule of fun events running throughout the year.

Week of Welcome

The idea behind the Week of Welcome is to not only welcome you into the SAE Community but also give you the chance to interact and network with your new peers, meet some of the faculty and staff.

Meet our General Manager, Mr. Jan Horn, who will welcome you to the SAE Family. Our Student Services team will guide you on accessing login details, navigating your timetable and portal, and understanding the orientation schedule.

After, you will get introduced to the Student Council members who took CMPC and they will give you exciting inside perks expected during your first trimester at SAE.

You will be joining Mr. Qaiser Ajaz (our IT guy) for a brief presentation on everything you need to know about using your student portal and online system and the Supervisors, Sandeep, Darren, and Ognjen will then give a brief presentation about the process of studio and equipment bookings.

Finally, catch up with the student council over some games and some laughs to get you ready for the upcoming week.

Understanding APA Citations is crucial here at SAE to complete all units successfully. Get familiar with APA Citations, appropriate use of AI in your academic writing and the Library Database through a workshop with our Librarian, Mrs. Regine Mamburam. Our Academic Director, Mrs. Jennifer Adams, will take you through a brief orientation about academic policies at SAE Dubai and the transition into university life. Then, meet our head of student services Mr. Randula De Silva, who will introduce you to the SAE support team and give you a quick guide on student life and services.

The student council members have also organized a quiz with gift vouchers up for grabs! After you will also get to meet our experienced industry practitioners (your CMPC lecturers) who will explain the program you are enrolled in and answer any questions you have.

Just a friendly reminder to dress nicely and show off your awesome self for your Student ID Card photo this day! Can’t wait to see you looking great!

DAY 3

You will join Mr. Aaron Henriques for a CMCP Workshop to get you better prepared for starting your SAE Journey with us!

Student Services will host an International Student Meet Up for this day and will be available from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. The first half-hour is for international students who will be given a short presentation.
The second half-hour is open to all students to meet with student services and clarify any questions or concerns.

You will also get to learn more about your learning journals, reflective writing, and study paths with Mr. Amit Naval.

Finally, to end the week of almost everything educational, join the Student Council for an awesome Popcorn Party where we will be watching a movie together.
