We’ll begin the day with a warm welcome to the SAE family from our General Manager, Mr. Jan Horn. Following this, our Student Services team will guide you through setting up your login credentials, understanding your timetable, and navigating your student portal.

You’ll then meet the Student Council for a quick introduction to student life at SAE, as they share helpful tips and what to expect during your time here. Our IT expert, Mr. Aflal Anver, will provide a walkthrough of the student portal and essential online systems, while Supervisors Ognjen, Darren, and Sam will explain how to access studios and book equipment.

We’ll wrap up the day with games and laughter hosted by the Student Council—a fun and relaxed way to meet your peers and kick off the trimester!

Mrs. Jennifer Adams, our Academic Director, will guide you through an orientation on our academic policies at SAE Dubai, helping to ease your transition into university life. Following this, you’ll meet Mr. Randula De Silva, our Head of Student Services, who will introduce you to the support team and provide a brief overview of student life and services.

Understanding the online library and the importance of the Library Database is key to your success at SAE. Join our Librarian, Mrs. Regine Mamburam, for a workshop on APA Citations, the appropriate use of AI in academic writing, and navigating the Library Database. 

The Student Council has organised a Quiz with gift vouchers up for grabs! Afterwards, you’ll meet your experienced industry practitioners, who will explain your program and answer any questions you may have.

Start your day with an engaging Reflective Writing Workshop led by Mr. Amit Naval, Assistant Academic Director and Head of Animation, designed to help you develop essential academic writing skills.

Next, Student Services will host an informative session covering everything you need to know about living in Dubai and thriving as a student at SAE University College.

To wrap up the week, unwind with the Student Council at a fun Movie Night—complete with VOX Cinema popcorn!
