SAE EXPERIENCE

What inspired you to enter into the career you’re in?

I started learning music at a very young age, and ever since then, there was no looking back. I’m thankful for the undying support of my family that helped me pursue a field that is not so common amongst my peers.

What are your fondest memories of your time at SAE?

During my time in SAE Institute Dubai, my fondest memories were with the like-minded friends I had made during the course. It was lovely to be part of a community of talented individuals from different fields; Audio, Film, Animation and Multimedia.

How did studying at SAE Dubai help you reach where you are now?

SAE provided me with the basic knowledge and skills required to develop a presentable industry standard portfolio. I also had the opportunity to learn the basics of web-design, image processing, video editing and a lot of other related disciplines that helped me develop a broader understanding of digital media. I still use most of the skills that I picked up in SAE that I wouldn’t have gotten to learn otherwise.

What are your career/project highlights?

In the recent months, my work has been featured in plenty of publications/websites such as the Huffington Post, Storypick, Yahoo, and many others. A lot of the productions have gone viral on social media and I have been really fortunate to have my work seen and appreciated by a few very well known names in the entertainment/music industry.

What projects are you working on at the moment?

Currently, I am continuing my work on *FLAIR – Carnatic Music 2.0*. I plan on releasing my second album sometime next year. Otherwise, I keep experimenting with technology and keep looking for interesting ways to present my music.

What advice would you give to students aspiring to become successful in their field?

In today’s competitive times, it is extremely important to keep working on new and creative ideas. I believe in pushing boundaries and possibilities further by doing things that haven’t been done before, in ways that cannot be imagined. It is vital to stay updated and keep learning!
