Module 1 – Foundations

Session 1: Introduction to AI & Generative AI for Designers

·        Theory: AI, ML, Generative AI; how design is evolving with AI

·        Tools: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity (for creative briefs, trend research)

·        Interactive: Icebreaker – “Prompt Battle” (who generates the best campaign idea?)

 

Session 2: Prompt Engineering for Visual Storytelling & Responsible AI in Design

·        Theory: Prompt structures (style, medium, mood, constraints) for design outputs

·        Tools: ChatGPT Advanced Prompts, FlowGPT, MidJourney prompt libraries

·        Practical: Rewrite a vague creative brief into 3 optimized prompts → compare generated visuals

·        Theory: Copyright, originality, bias, corporate brand compliance

·        Tools: OpenAI/Google AI guidelines, AI detection & copyright tools

·        Interactive: Group debate – “Should AI-generated logos be trademarkable?”

 

Module 2 – Productivity & Knowledge Work 

Session 3: AI for Research & Creative Productivity / Writing & Content Creation for Designers

·        Tools: Notion AI (moodboards), Perplexity (design trend research), Elicit (creative insights), Otter.ai (meeting notes)

·        Practical: Summarize a client brief into design tasks + moodboard references

·        Tools: Jasper, Copy.ai, GrammarlyGO (copywriting for visuals, taglines)

·        Practical: Generate 3 ad copy variations + pair with matching visuals (MidJourney/Canva AI)

 

Session 4: AI for Presentations & Reports

·        Tools: Gamma, Tome, Canva AI, Beautiful.ai

·        Practical: Build a 5-slide brand pitch deck using AI (visuals + copy)

 

Module 3 – Creativity & Design 

Session 5: AI in Branding & Identity / AI for Video & Motion Graphics

·        MidJourney, Leonardo.ai, Krea

·        Practical: Design a brand identity pack → logo + color palette + style moodboard

·        Krea Focus: Live ideation boards for team collaboration

·      Tools: Runway (video editing), Kling.ai, Descript (voice sync)

·        Practical: Create a 30-sec product video with AI-generated visuals + voiceover

Session 6: AI for Social Media & Campaigns

·        Tools: Lately.ai, Ocoya, Predis.ai

·        Practical: Build a 1-week campaign calendar (posts, captions, branded visuals)

Module 4 – Business, Data & Automation 

Session 7: AI for Client/Customer Design Needs & AI for Design Data & Insights

·        Tools: ChatGPT Custom GPTs (brand voice), Botpress (FAQ bots), Intercom AI (support assets)

·        Practical: Create a design-focused chatbot that helps clients pick brand styles

·        Tools: ChatGPT Code Interpreter (analyze design engagement data), PowerBI AI, Tableau AI

·        Practical: Upload campaign results → AI suggests what design styles performed best

Session 8: AI Workflows & Design Automation

·        Tools: Zapier, Make, Airtable AI, Figma AI plug-ins

·        Practical: Automate a workflow: client brief → AI moodboard → draft visual → export

 

Module 5 – Advanced & Project Work 

Session 9: AI in Specialized Design Fields & Building Your AI Design Toolkit & Portfolio

·        Examples: UX/UI, Packaging, Advertising

·        Tools: Khroma (color palettes), Uizard (UI mockups)

·        Practical: Group work – design a sector-specific AI solution (e.g., packaging & Advertisement)

·        Curating tools for everyday work: image, video, audio, layout, automation

·        Practical: Each designer builds their “AI-assisted workflow map”

Session 10:  Capstone Project & Showcase

·        Group projects: End-to-end design campaign using AI

o   Decide what AI tools work best for your company.

o   AI-generated brand pitch

o   AI-driven social campaign

o   AI-enhanced product video

·        Peer review + trainer feedback + certification
