They are linked with new trends and cutting styles and are at the forefront of youth culture. But becoming a DJ takes skill and knowledge. You need to know how to “beat match”, “mix”, “set loop points” and you need to know about things like EQs, levels and crossfaders and then you can be a superstar.

There are no academic requirements to participate in this programme. The student needs to be a minimum of 17 years of age upon commencement of the course.
